✨ A Practically Perfect Mary Poppins Cake ✨

When I was asked to create a Mary Poppins–themed cake, I knew it had to be whimsical, elegant, and full of charm — just like Mary herself!

This cake features four layers of soft, fluffy vanilla sponge with a light and dreamy strawberry cream filling between each layer. The outside is smooth and simple vanilla buttercream, allowing the real star of the show to shine — the icing & fondant decorations!

Tiny fondant penguins (inspired by the iconic Jolly Holiday scene) waddle on the board, bringing the design to life. It’s a sweet nod to the classic film and a perfect centerpiece for a grown-up Mary Poppins fan’s birthday celebration.

This cake was so much fun to create, and the combination of strawberries and cream inside makes it just as magical on the inside as it looks on the outside.
